You don't need to translate your life to be understood.

After working through daily demands and communicating in another language, after negotiating cultural differences and the distance from those left behind, psychotherapy can be a Portuguese-language space to process what you are experiencing.

A place where attachments, longing, international work, studies, transitions, and the routine you are rebuilding abroad are understood through your own language and story.

How the Care Process Works

A gradual beginning: initial administrative contact, a brief conversation for alignment, and only then the decision to begin psychotherapy.

First contact via WhatsApp

Send a preliminary message to express interest, ask practical questions, and indicate your country of residence and time zone.

Free 15-minute initial consultation

A brief video call to learn how the work functions, evaluate the suitability of the format, and align on availability. This conversation does not constitute a psychotherapy session.

Deciding to start psychotherapy

You decide, with autonomy and without pressure, whether you wish to begin the therapeutic process. Upon mutual agreement, we schedule your first session.

First 50-minute psychotherapy session

The first session is a formal part of the clinical process. In it, we deepen our understanding of what motivated you to seek therapy, your history, and your therapeutic goals.

Continuity of the process

Subsequent sessions are conducted on a regular basis—typically weekly—developing structured interventions at the pace best suited to your needs.

For Brazilian adults building their lives abroad

The focus is not to transform migration into a diagnosis. It is to create clinical space to think about life, relationships, work, and belonging with rigor and care.

The service is directed at Brazilian adults living abroad who experience the specific psychological impacts of life across different cultures, languages, and professional realities.

  • Cultural adaptation and feelings of non-belonging
  • Navigating multiple time zones, languages, and family distances
  • Pressure in international work environments and a global career
  • Professionals and leaders in highly analytical or technological fields
Professional background: Experience in the technology sector is a clinical context that the psychologist knows well, but it is not a prerequisiteThe service provides care for adults from any professional field.

Optional brief questionnaire

You can complete the questionnaire to see how work, rest, and personal life have been related over the past few weeks.

Optional. It serves an informational and reflective purpose. It does not make a diagnosis, replace professional care, or need to be used to initiate contact.

Online psychological services with time zone alignment

The practical structure must support the clinical process: privacy, regularity, punctuality, and genuine schedule compatibility.

Online only

Sessions conducted via secure and private video calls, allowing continuity of care even during travel or city relocations.

Coordinated time zones

Scheduling is analyzed on a case-by-case basis, considering your time zone—Europe, Americas, Asia—and the clinic's availability.

50-minute sessions

Meetings with a standard duration of 50 minutes, conducted punctually and with exclusive dedication to each client.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

A structured, collaborative, and evidence-based approach.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is a structured clinical approach that is collaborative and grounded in scientific evidence. In this modality, the psychologist and patient work together to identify recurring patterns of reality interpretation and develop more functional ways of coping with daily life.

Thoughts

How you interpret the events, professional demands, and interpersonal relationships around you.

Emotions

How do you feel in the face of these interpretations: anxiety, guilt, isolation, or peace?

Behaviors

The actions and responses you adopt and how they maintain or transform your routine.

In practice with Brazilians living abroad, CBT allows us to examine how expectations about life outside the country, rigid internal rules, and performance beliefs affect well-being and daily decisions.

Questions About Care

Objective answers to reduce practical uncertainties before the first contact.

Is the service offered only online?

Yes. All sessions are conducted exclusively online via video call, in accordance with the Federal Council of Psychology guidelines for the provision of psychological services through information technology.

How does the initial 15-minute conversation work?

It is a preliminary and free video call conversation. It serves to get to know each other briefly, clarify practical questions regarding fees and time zones, and check if the format meets your needs. It is not a clinical session.

How does the first session work?

The first session lasts 50 minutes and is already part of the psychotherapy process. In it, we begin to explore your life story, your current living context abroad, and the main issues you wish to work on.

Do I need to be tech-savvy to receive psychological services?

No. Although the psychologist is familiar with the culture and pressures of the technology sector, services are open to Brazilian adults from any professional field or activity.

Do I need a diagnosis to seek psychotherapy?

No. Psychotherapy welcomes individuals experiencing a range of concerns, from brief episodes of distress, adjustment crises, relational anxieties, and life transitions to formal clinical presentations of anxiety or depression. A diagnosis is not a prerequisite.

What is the difference between a psychologist and a psychiatrist?

The psychologist conducts psychotherapy through dialogue and clinical methods based on psychological science. The psychiatrist is a medical specialist in the diagnosis and pharmacological treatment of mental disorders. Both professions can work complementarily.

Can I do psychotherapy while living in any country?

Yes, provided there is schedule compatibility between time zones and you have access to a private location with stable internet connectivity.

How does time zone alignment work?

During our initial conversation, we will check where you are located—Europe, North America, Asia, or elsewhere—and find compatible time slots that work for both schedules.

Do I need to send sensitive personal details over WhatsApp?

No. Contact via WhatsApp is purely administrative, for scheduling the initial conversation. Sharing your story and intimate concerns occurs only within the secure and confidential environment of our sessions.

Does online psychotherapy replace emergency care?

No. Elective psychotherapy does not replace mental health emergency or urgent care services. In situations of immediate risk, it is essential to contact the emergency services in the country where you reside.

Do you accept insurance plans?

The service is private. If your health insurance plan covers reimbursement, formal receipts can be issued to request reimbursement.

You don't need to explain everything at once.

Starting care can be gradual and without commitment. Send a message via WhatsApp to schedule a 15-minute initial conversation.
